The local OPC pastor in this little part of Oregon asked if my best friend and I had already betrothed our 2 little ones. They, in fact, entered our families around the same time. I had called her the week before she gave birth not knowing that my adoption agency was already taking care of paper work to hand over my son to me when he was just 2 weeks old. So the next time I called I told her that we were both not sleeping well at night because of the same reasons.
D & A both seem to understand that they are the same age--often playing together, irritating each other or loving each other these past 4 weeks. I am glad they have really bonded. They even kept house the other day...
