Just Without the Lampshade

Life at home can be very entertaining.

It doesn't take much to figure out a way to have fun without any alcohol.

Just put a toddler into the mix.

He'll think up something.

He is our TV set.

He can make loud noises.

And replace the audience, clapping for himself.

Not just our TV, he is our little bear.

Inciting fright, er, sort of...

He'll bear hug you too.

Grrrr....

A New Park

We discovered a new park the other day.

There is something about a park--if built well--that is so architectural and geometrical.

Can you guess which one it is? 

The children, of course, were a little bit more utilitarian about the why they liked the park.

Sometimes she left him alone.

Sometimes she didn't know where she pushed him.

But he didn't seem to mind.

Mama's turn.

S's ballet skirt was such a soft and delicate contrast to the hard lines.

D had his own way of having fun.

It was a beautiful late summer evening.
