J & J Forever

I had the wonderful privilege of second shooting for my favorite photographer Sarah Robertson of Image Bearers Photography a couple of weeks ago.  Sarah had taken pictures of my son's Gotcha Day.  I am warning you that if you click on that link that you better have handkerchiefs ready.  I love Sarah's artistry and photojournalistic style.   There is a rawness,  a quickness of eye, and a unique creativity that sets her apart from the many wedding photographers out there.  So, Jonathan and Jandy are very blessed to have her as a member of their church and moreover, to have her as their wedding photographer.  It was a pleasure to meet Jonathan and Jandy, hear their story and witness the beginning of the rest of their lives together.   I was especially touched by Jandy's father Randy whose own marriage to his wife will serve as a wonderful model to the newlyweds.  Thank you Sarah and congratulations Jonathan and Jandy!

Baptismal Party

This past Sunday was a special time for the Spanish church in which my husband ministers.  Little Eddy Jr. was baptized, receiving the sign and seal of God's special favor upon him.  What a precious thing that Jesus asks that the little children of believers to come to Him.  He was displeased and even indignant, as some translations call it, when he discovered His disciples forbade the parents of these children from bringing their children to Him.  After He corrected them, He pronounced the Kingdom of God as belonging to these little ones and proceeded to hold them in His arms as we read in Mark 10:14.  Jesus indeed loves the little children of His flock.  Glory be to God for such loving kindness and mercy.  And felicidades a Eddy y Verito por su precioso nino.
Lots of good food: tamales!!!!

Love and laughter overflowed...

Children everywhere...(for those of you who are curious--my baby was asleep for 3 hours in his room while the eldest was sick and sequestered in her room :-( )
